Learn to drive like a professional rally driver in one of our iconic, rally prepared RWD Subaru Impreza cars. This all day event takes place most Saturdays and the occasional weekday, and will give you a real taste for rallying, covering all the basic rally driver techniques of handbrake turns, powerslides and pace notes. Learn the principals of writing rally pace notes and then how to implement them in real rally style with your instructor (aka navigator) by your side on our authentic gravel rally stage. This unrivaled experience is just £325 per person.

To Start – Informal briefing on the basic principles of rally driving techniques and car control delivered by our qualified instructors in our purpose built training room  - approx 20 mins.

 

Session 1:

Powersliding - each participant will in turn take the driving seat and practice the basic “sideways” control using manoeuvres that co-ordinate power and steering balance. We will start with left hand slides, then take it all to the right hand testing your cognitive skills to the max!

Session 2:

Handbrake turns - each participant will practice left hand handbrake turns, hard cornering and car positioning techniques through a sequence of tight corners on our special stage. Like the powerslides, we then take it all to the right hand - you won't believe the difference in handling.

Session 3:

Combine your new found skills with surprising results over 1 full lap of our authentic gravel rally stage, designed to get you familiar with the layout.

Session 4:

Pace notes - learn the fundamentals and theory. Write your own pace notes for use on our authentic gravel rally stage. Then put them into practice on random runs of the entire stage. Can you handle using your new skills whilst listening to a navigator in true rally style with no idea what direction he will take you on next?

 

And finally – why not let your instructor show you how it's really done! Hold on tight, feel your adrenaline rise as your instructor demonstrates the true potential of the car on one of our hotlaps. Available to purchase on the day £40 for you and/or your guests.

What you need to know...

​

Restrictions apply - maximum weight 115 kg maximum height 1.98 m due to the set-up of the rally cars. Minimum age 17 years with full UK driving licence.

​

Please allow approx 5 - 6 hours at the rally school for your experience, based on 6 people maximum per car/instructor Including mandatory safety briefing. Please note sessions are driving back to back and the order of each session will be dependent on your group. 

​

Driving Rear Wheel Drive Subaru Impreza. We reserve the right to change cars in the event of technical/availability issues.

 

Drivers and guests can add a high speed passenger ride for £40, available on the day of your experience - just speak to our team.

 

Once booked, cancellations are not accepted, but changes can be made up to 28 days prior to your event.
