The British Association of Rally Schools

Rallying is regulated by the governing body of the sport - Motorsport UK (MSUK). In the MSUK Book of Motorsport Regulations (commonly referred to as the 'Blue Book'), it states that, to compete in Rallying as a driver, you must complete and pass a written and practical British Association of Rally Schools (BARS) Assessment in order to get a Rally Licence. This licence is referred to as an RS Stage Rally Licence.

As an approved BARS centre you are able carry out this assessment at Silverstone Rally School. We are also able to offer 1:1 tuition prior to the test to help prepare you. 1:1 training can be tailored to suit your requirements, and can be discussed prior to arrival with our knowledgeable team.

All our instructors are qualified and experienced BARS S Grade Licence holders, and we have front wheel and rear wheel drive options available.

Please contact our friendly and helpful team to book your BARS Assessment on +44 (0)1327 857 413 or email office@silverstonerally.co.uk.

Please note - anyone wishing to take their BARS Assessment must first purchase an MSUK Go Rallying Pack. This pack includes an application form for your first RS Stage Rally Licence. This pack will need to be brought to your BARS Assessment, to be endorsed by your instructor on successful completion of the assessment.
